Salicylic Acid (OTC) 2% — the maximum FDA-permitted concentration. A beta hydroxy acid that helps eliminate the bacterial environment that promotes acne. As salicylic acid is oil-soluble, it can penetrate deep into pores, clearing acne breakouts, blackheads and whiteheads, while exfoliating dead skin cells that clog pores.
Glycolic Acid 3.5%— a skin-cleansing, pH-balanced alpha hydroxy acid. A powerful exfoliant derived from sugar cane; its small molecular size helps regulate moisture levels in the epidermis (the outermost layer of the skin), leaving the skin smoother, softer and more radiant. It also stimulates desquamation, or the shedding of the skin’s outermost cells, helping to reduce clogged pores, pigmentation spots and rough texture.
Lactic Acid — a fermentation product of plant-derived sugars. Thanks to its larger molecular size, it penetrates the skin more slowly, providing gentle, medium-depth exfoliation. It also acts as a humectant, helping to hydrate the skin, smooth roughness and improve skin clarity and radiance.
Niacinamide— a skin-strengthening vitamin B3 that helps improve the appearance of environmental damage, reduce the visibility of problematic pores, even out skin tone, and minimise lines and dullness.
Potassium Azeloyl Diglycinate — a glycinated derivative of azelaic acid that retains the benefits of azelaic acid: helping to reduce lines, roughness and dullness, while promoting cell renewal. It helps normalise sebum production, improve the appearance of oily skin and make the complexion brighter and more even.
Camellia Oleifera Leaf Extract— green tea extract, a natural antioxidant with polyphenols that helps soothe and strengthen the skin.
Origanum Vulgare Leaf Extract — oregano leaf extract, rich in the antioxidant carvacrol.
Thymus Vulgaris (Thyme) Extract— a pure plant-based extract that helps reduce excess sebum production.
