Ultraceuticals is an Australian cosmeceutical dermatology brand founded in Sydney in 1998 by cosmetic medicine physician Dr. Geoffrey Heber. The brand’s key technologies — the Retinome® microparticle vitamin A delivery system and the Triple-HA complex with three molecular weight forms of hyaluronic acid — were developed in its own Sydney laboratory.

The legacy of Dr. Geoffrey Heber

Founder Dr. Geoffrey Heber, together with his wife Dr. Deborah Davis, opened one of Australia’s first cosmetic medicine clinics in Sydney in 1988 — Heber Davis Cosmetic Medicine. Dissatisfied with the inability of available products to maintain clinical results, he began formulating his own. Following the acquisition of cosmeceutical rights to alpha hydroxy acids (AHA) for the Australian and New Zealand markets in 1998, Ultraceuticals was created — a brand that remains founder-owned and retains an uninterrupted formulation philosophy spanning almost 30 years.
